Welcome to The Newport Clinic
The Newport Clinic was established in 2014, housed in the extensively refurbished Newport Hotel. Primarily a Chiropractic clinic, the practice has grown to include other services, in addition to Chiropractic we now offer Sports and Remedial Massage, Shockwave Therapy and Ear Wax Removal. Our Chiropractors all work between the clinic and our sister practice, The Grekin Clinic in Forfar. We aim to provide our community with the highest quality health care which is accessible to all.
Although based in Newport-on-Tay in north east Fife, we have patients and clients visiting from all over Fife, Dundee and further afield. Our practitioners have a range of interest and a wealth of experience, see our meet the team page for more information.

Chiropractic
Our Chiropractors are all registered with the GCC (General Chiropractic Council), the UK's governing body. They undertake post-graduate learning in order to keep up to date with the latest research and techniques.

Shockwave Therapy
Radial Shockwave Therapy has been a recent addition to the clinic. Shockwaves (or radial pressure waves) are a non-invasive treatment method which has been shown to be effective in the treatment of a growing range of musculoskeletal conditions. It has been most commonly used with tendinopathies such as:-

Ear Wax Removal
Our Qualified Nurse Practitioner carries out a procedure known as Ear irrigation. This is a medical procedure used to remove excess or impacted earwax from the ear canal.
Ear irrigation is used to safely eliminate excessive or hardened earwax, which can lead to hearing issues, earache, tinnitus, dizziness, and discomfort.
During ear irrigation, a specialised ear irrigation device is used to gently flush warm water into the ear canal. The water dislodges and flushes out the earwax, which is collected in a basin.
Sports & Remedial Massage
This is a specialised form of therapy designed to prevent and treat injuries, enhance athletic performance and improve overall well-being. It combines various techniques to address muscle issues; whether for athletes or individuals with specific concerns. We will assess, tailor treatments specifically for you and focus on injury prevention/treatment.
Benefits include improved flexibility, reduced muscle tension, enhanced circulation, pain relief, faster recovery, and overall well-being.
